Who Are We

A multi-faceted ministry where there is relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. Freedom Church seeks to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community one life at a time.

We are a ministry designed to B.L.E.S.S.

BHere at Freedom Church it is our desire to build people. Much like the construction of physical structures, there are key components that are necessary in the building process. For example every structure begins with a solid firm foundation so that the structural integrity is not compromised. Then you have floors laid, walls erected, electricity, plumbing and so on and so on. The same is true with people. Our goal is to provide first that firm foundation which is found in Christ, through the preaching and sound teaching of Gods holy word. However that’s just the beginning…what we seek is to provide other resources/training that will add to the holistic man from purchasing a home to having character and moral rectitude. We seek to build the twenty first century believer, one who is in the world but not of it and has the power to be a productive contributing member of society with Christ woven through out every fiber of their existence. When you build buildings you will always have monuments, but when you build people you will always have legacy. We believe that the proper building of this generation will help preserve the next and secure the mark or seal of the Holy Spirit on those who will carry the torch of the gospel long after we have departed.

LBondage comes in all shapes and forms with a plethora of reasons why people can’t seem to break through. We seek to lead people to the true source of all freedom which is housed in Christ. Supreme Freedom which is our endeavor is the release from captivity or bondage in conjunction with the necessary plan that will provide the retention of that freedom. We seek through the transformational leadership of Christ, to initiate change not in behavior but of heart. The bible instructs us in Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” (NKJV) the new century translation really brings this verse home. “Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life.” (NCV) Here lies the key to leading the way to supreme freedom, we must compel men to come to the one who is able to change the heart, and once the heart is turned towards Christ the thought process begins to change and imbibe the things that are mentioned in Philippians 4:8 true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable or commendable. It only then can one not just taste of freedom, but live it as a lifestyle, it was for freedom that Christ has made us free!

EWe seek to establish a network of believers.  A network is an interconnected group or association of persons, friends or professional colleagues. It is important that the believer is not just an asset in the church, but an asset outside the church as well. We believe that all of our gifts, talents and resources come from the Lord, therefore all of our gifts, talents and resources should be offered to Him and not just our “Church Gifts” i.e. playing an instrument, teaching, preaching….etc

We seek to capitalize on the holistic mans’ abilities, strengths, gifts and the like in order to provide a chain of services and goods within the believers circle.

SThe economy of the United States is the world’s largest national economy. Its nominal GDP (Gross Domestic Product) was estimated to be over $15 trillion in 2011 alone.  Yet our economic circle is in a fragile state, as it has been before. We seek to, through principles found in God’s word, and be the lenders or our society and not the borrowers. Investing and sowing into the kingdom is how we are going to see an increase in our lives, so that we can strengthen the economy and therefore the fragile levies of our economic environment.

S Seek and save the lost.  Luke 19:10 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.  Luke 19:10 serves as the catalyst for the church as a whole. It is the direct mission of Jesus, and our purpose for existing. We will always be a voice crying out in a climate of false hope and despair. It is our direct responsibility to seek the loss and disembodied, meaning not in “the body.” It is through the wooing of the Gospel of Grace that men may come to know Him.
